Parra Adobe
Although some historians theorize the adobe may have served as a barracks for Mission San Juan Capistrano vaqueros (cowboys) in an earlier time, it was probably constructed in the 1860s. The adobe is associated with Miguel ParraJr., who built the adobe prior to its recorded ownership by Francois Riveri n, a Frenchman. Housed here is the Museum of Indian Artifacts run by the Capistrano Indian Council. The museum is open by appointment only.
